A not-to-be-missed annual event is the arrival of the Novelli. Fabiano's Novello di Bardolino Classico is made from fine grapes which give it an intense perfume. Alongside this there is the Novello Merlot del Veneto, no less rich in flavour and perfume, and made from wines obtained from the carbonic method.
